Biography

Prior to obtaining his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law, Sean attended Auburn University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.  During law school, he worked with a number of firms in the San Antonio area, along with the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office, all of which allowed him to develop his skills in advocacy, discovery and motion practice across a broad range of legal specialties.

After obtaining his license and being sworn into practice, Sean began his professional career by gaining extensive civil litigation experience in primarily representing clients involved in negligence and injury cases.  In representing these clients at trial, mediation and arbitration, Sean gained valuable expertise both inside and outside the courtroom in securing favorable verdicts and settlements.

Since joining Myers Doyle, Sean has been primarily focused on representing healthcare providers in all areas of medicine and dentistry.  His prior background and experience has helped him to excel in defending physicians, dentists, and other healthcare professionals and entities facing a variety of alleged malpractice cases, including medical and dental wrongful death, failure to treat, surgical errors, delayed diagnosis and misdiagnosis, anesthesia and medication errors, and neurologic injuries.  In addition to handling alleged malpractice cases, Sean has helped to successfully defend physicians and dentists before the Texas Medical Board and the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.  He also has experience assisting with contested cases against professional boards before the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH) and with appealing final agency orders to district court.
